Scholarships
Policies and Procedures
The Bozeman Track Club offers scholarship opportunities to make sure as many athletes as possible are able to participate. Our goal is to try to keep finances from getting in the way of an athlete who has a passion for track and field. We offer two types of scholarships: needs-based and performance-based.
Needs-Based
If a family is undergoing financial hardship, we encourage applying for a scholarship. Typically, this type of scholarship is used cover the BTC registration fee among other things.
Performance-based
For athletes who are competitive and strive to attend national-level meets, we also encourage them to apply for a scholarship to help offset some of the costs of the event.
How to Apply?
We encourage you to send an email to scholarships@bozemantrackclub.org. Include the parent and athlete's names, athlete's grade, and a paragraph about the value and impact of track and field for the athlete. Ideally we would like this to be written by the athlete, but it’s not required.
Our board-based committee will review the application and contact you.
